BREATH OF FRESH AIR: To shoot our coverboy, Teen Vogue trekked out to Montauk, New York, with some special guests in tow: thirteen kids from the Fresh Air Fund, a nonprofit organization in Manhattan that sends inner-city children to summer camp and getaways with host families. They couldn't wait to spend a day dancing with one of their biggest idols. And as a lasting memento? Zac gave personal autographs to each of them!

HIS FAVORITE THINGS: The actor loves the movie 21, the iconic film star Marlon Brando, and preppy rockers Vampire Weekend.

ZAC, ON 17 AGAIN "It was hard to play someone I couldn't relate to in the slightest, but the director taught me a lot about the art of acting, which I hadn't been schooled in before. I've got a better understanding of what it means to be an actor now."

ZAC, ON FAME: "You don't realize until it's gone, but it is so important to feel normal. I'm not going to complain. It's something I've learned to cope with."
